How does voting work for tasks?
NEW IN DMI 2.0 After a task’s deadline, branches will each receive their own voting pages so they can choose a winner from their branch. You will not be permitted to vote for your own entry. All the winners from each branch will then be voted on by all branches, as well as non-DMI employees who are allowed to vote as well, to decide an Overall Winner. In global votes, branches may not vote for their own entry. Employees, regardless of the number of accounts they hold, may only vote once in the global vote unless specifically stated in the Voting Guidelines for that task. DMI reserves the right to void any votes gained from “clone” accounts (multiple employee accounts created solely for the purpose of gaining additional votes) or votes that appear, in DMI’s sole discretion, to be invalid.
