As a state institution, each employee of the university is subject to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s conflict of interest laws and the university’s policies and procedures on conflicts of interests. Virginia Tech and its researchers will comply with all federal, state, and institutional conflict of interest requirements. The university will not knowingly enter into research agreements that have conflicting commitments and obligations.
