How does vinyl lettering differ from hand painting?
Before vinyl lettering was invented in the early 1980’s, most signs were hand painted. Today, in most cases vinyl is the way to go because: • Vinyl lasts longer than hand painting – often up to 7 years outdoors before fading. • Vinyl can be removed making it an excellent choice for leased vehicles. • Vinyl can be changed in the future. For example, area code changes are simple and inexpensive. • Computer cut vinyl is more exact yielding crisper letters. • Applying vinyl is less time consuming, ultimately reducing your cost. • An exact copy of your design is always provided so there are no “surprises”.
