Vector Images: Vector images are created in a Vector drawing program, such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Freehand. Vector images are stored mathematically, rather than by pixels. They can be resized in a Vector drawing program, without loss of image quality. For this reason, most logos are created in Vector format. Vector images are perfect for printing, they have unlimited resolution. Advantages of the Vector file format: File size is very small. (unlimited resolution!) Images can be printed in 1, 2 and 3 SPOT Colors. (Offset printing) Images can be printed in Full Color CMYK (4 Color printing process) Color changes and editing can be made instantly (with software) Each design element can be edited separately.
