How does Vastu regulate the temperature inside the house?
Solar radiation, electro magnetic energy fields and wind velocity affect the human body and mind. The human body is such that it is able to withstand a temperature of -40°C to +40°C. But, the ideal range lies between 25°C to 35°C which is found in the Tropics. This is the reason why the Tropic of Cancer is called the “Cradle of Civilization”. Normal temperatures for both the mind and the body are between 22°C and 32°C. That is why the mountains and high altitude areas are recommended for sages as they succeed in gaining complete control over their bodily functions for meditating successfully. Vastu Shastra acts as both a protector and an energiser. So, the north-east side should have thin walls while the walls in the south-west side should be thick.
