How does Value Blue work?
Value Blue’s Blue Preferred network is a PPO, or preferred provider organization. PPO plans provide you with the highest level of benefits and the lowest out-of-pocket costs when you receive care from providers who are in the Blues’ PPO network. In Michigan, all hospitals and 95 percent of doctors are in the PPO network. Value Blue is also available as a Blue Traditional® product.
