You will find that most construction companies operate with one or more project managers who are responsible for several jobs at any given time. The project manager will coordinate all the subs needed and all aspects of the project, as do lead carpenters. The difference is that project managers are monitoring several jobs throughout the day by spending maybe an hour or two at each project. While this management style does not fit in with our business philosophy the project manager system is widely used and respected throughout the industry.
