How does URETEK lift sunken industrial concrete foundations?
A series of penny-sized holes are drilled approximately six feet apart (can be adjusted depending on the project) in the area of the foundation that needs raising and/or stabilized. A special, high-density polyurethane formulation is injected through the holes into the area under the slab. The polyurethane expands, filling the voids and raising the affected area. URETEK can quickly remediate large areas of sunken concrete in a fraction of the time and cost to break out and replace the same area.
