How does Upromise work?
After a customer enrolls in the program, they register their payment devices (i.e credit cards, check cards) and identification devices (i.e. loyalty cards). Up to 10 credit cards can be registered. Contributions are “earned” when a member makes a purchase using one of the devices they registered with Upromise at a participating company. Members savings contributions as well as their family and friends contributions are automatically deposited into their Upromise account with every qualifying purchase made with a contributing company. ExxonMobil will contribute 1 cent per gallon of a participating customers gasoline purchase. Members can easily monitor their savings on a daily basis through their personalized and secure online Upromise account. Upromise has teamed with leading financial institutions to help members invest their Upromise savings. Members have the option to invest the funds from their Upromise account.
