UNL is the flagship university for the State of Nebraska, and the primary research and doctoral-degree granting institution in Nebraska. It is recognized by the Carnegie Foundation as a Doctoral/Research Extensive University. The U.S. News and World Report ranks UNL as one of the top 50 US public universities. The College of Business Administration (CBA) is one of the top 40 business schools within public universities and one of the top 60 colleges of all AACSB accredited business colleges. Our part-time MBA program was ranked #4 nationally by Business Week in 2009. The MIS program at UNL has world class faculty members.
