How does UD accommodate a student in need of tutoring or students with learning disabilities?
Student Learning Services (SLS) provides structured, customized programs and services that meet the unique needs of the learner. SLS assists students in understanding themselves as learners, and helps improve successful course completion rates and retention rates through graduation. SLS serves a number of high-risk student populations, as well as the general population. Programming includes supplemental instruction in selected humanities base courses, developmental mathematics courses, disability services, peer mentoring, writing support/writing tutors and more.
