UCit follows the construction standards of the Telecommunication Distribution Methods Manuals (TDMM) from the Building Industries Consulting Services International (BICSI) organization. The TDMM references The National Electrical Code, The National Electrical Safety Code and the telecommunications industry standards organization, Telecommunications Industry Association /Electronics Industry Association (TIA/EIA).
