How does UA Corporate Programs operate?
University of Alaska Corporate Programs (UACP) was created to function within the University’s statewide system as a single point of contact for Alaska business and industry. UACP is a knowledge-management program designed to meet the ever-changing challenges of training, re-training and updating the skills sets of Alaska’s work force. UACP is the logical vehicle though which industry may outsource some or all of its education and training needs—the corporate university of choice in Alaska. UACP provides Alaska employers and organizations access to the rich resources that already exist within the university system and facilitates the development of new coursework and training to respond directly to the unmet needs of the Alaska business community. This is accomplished at Corporate Programs via the University of Alaska’s multi-campus system of lifelong learning, tailored to the needs of today’s business and industry.
