How does Tutoring Match earn any money?
As a placement and referral service, we rely on our referrals. We make money based on volume and numbers. We take a small percentage of what the tutor charges and because we don’t presently charge the in-home tutors any membership or network fee and provide them with over 20 benefits, our tutors pay for our service by contributing 20% of their charge. Tutors who value our service, contract with us to make our relationship a win-win-win for student/parent – tutor and Tutoring Match.
