How does TRUSTe handle privacy disputes that a consumer has with TRUSTe-licensed sites?
TRUSTe requires the consumer to contact the Web site first to resolve the issue. If the consumer doesn’t receive a satisfactory resolution, they can file a complaint with the TRUSTe Watchdog Dispute Resolution program, through which we serve as the liaison to resolve the issue with the TRUSTe client.
