How does TRIBrewards know when a member has used a registered card?
TRIBrewards has partnered with one of the largest credit card processors in the country to design a program that matches registered cards with transactions members make at participating retailers. These transactions are securely matched at the processor level on a daily basis and do not require any additional steps that might interfere in card acquiring, processing or clearance activities. Our process is capable of matching transactions made through about 70% of retailers in the Tampa Bay area. As a part of the partnership sign up process TRIBrewards will carry out a trace to verify that we can match transactions made at your location(s). No specialized point of sale hardware or training is required for retailers and there are no coupons to carry, member numbers to enter or cards to present. The system is safe, secure and automated for both members and merchants.
