How does Trace remotely destroy confidential data?
When you authorize remote data destruction by pressing the delete button on the Inspice website, a remote program sends a delete command via the Internet to the Inspice Trace program residing in your stolen or lost computer. The program will securely and irrevocably destroy the data in the stolen or lost computer. This will protect your sensitive data from any potential unauthorized access. Note: Trace’s data erase service is available at the Secure Data Erase page on the Inspice website. The delete button won’t be visible unless your computer has been reported as being lost or stolen.
