How does Toys for Tots distribute the toys that are collected?
All of the toys that are collected from the local community are distributed back to the local community. Toys are distributed to local social service agencies and churches where the need for assistance can be identified. Toys for Tots does not have the resources to handle individual requests from the community and relies on the expertise of the local social service agencies to screen applicants on the basis of need. The social service agencies request toys in bulk from Toys for Tots based on the number of applicants that are requesting assistance through their agency.
