How does TOPSpro handle the Ethnicity and Race fields?
Field 8a and 8b are both required. Page 4-3 of the Data Dictionary has been changed to read “Hispanic or Latino- A person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race. If this field is coded, it is necessary to complete field 8b.” Field 8b must now be completed regardless of the way the adult learner bubbles the response for Field 8a.
