Because our student body comes from diverse backgrounds and varying practices and customs, Tomer Devorah helps each student to recognize and celebrate Yom Haatzmaut in an appropriate manner. For example, we will provide transportation for students who desire to go to Merkaz HaRav Kook for tefillot and dancing. For those students who are interested, the school will provide an optional tiyul and picnic.
