How does TIMSWeb maintain security from non-trusted domains?
TIMSWeb security will prompt users for their username and password, which will be authenticated against the users network privilege. Once logged in the user will be able to gain access to the various web resources. To further tighten security, companies can choose between several options to ensure privacy. Erecting a firewall on the web server to add another layer of authentication, or to allow only certain IP addresses to access the site. Isolate the web server from the rest of the network and replicate the live files to the web server. Set up a VPN between the non-trusted domains and use TIMSWeb security to authenticate users from the nontrusted domain.
