How does Thrombin-JMI® compare with human thrombin or recombinant human thrombin?
Based on the efficacy data available to date, Thrombin-JMI® was shown to be equally effective as either hThrombin or rhThrombin. No significant differences in overall clinical adverse events or serious adverse events were observed in head-to-head clinical trials with either the human or the recombinant topical thrombin product vs Thrombin-JMI®.
