How does this draft LEP differ to the version recently exhibited as part of the community update?
This draft LEP on exhibition is substantially the same as the draft LEP recently exhibited as part of the community update held in mid 2009. However, there have been a number of important changes as a result of requirements of NSW Department of Planning. Theses changes include the following: • Proposed new heritage conservation areas adjacent to the Epping Town Centre and including a new Boronia Avenue Conservation Area and an extension to the Epping Eastwood Conservation Area have been removed from the draft LEP. Four proposed new heritage listings in Epping have also been removed. These heritage proposals will be further investigated as part of a joint planning study of the Epping Town Centre being undertaken by Hornsby Shire and Parramatta City Councils, together with the NSW Department of Planning. • The neighbourhood block bounded by Blaxcell Street, The Avenue, John Street and Louis Street, Granville has been included in the R2 Low Density Residential Zone and not the R4 High Den
