How does this degree of loneliness affect one person?

You refer to this person as “He” so I will too. He would naturally have low self esteem since there was no one to teach or bring out his best qualities. How he would react can go either way: 1- He could grow up with self pity, and mad at the world for the bad break given him from the beginning of his life, and retaliate against man kind that he feels turned their back on him since day one. Or, 2- he could grow up to be determined to find love and appreciate love when he finds it. Family values would be his top priority because he would not want his loved ones to suffer the pain of loneliness he had endured through out his growing up years. Some of these people make the best husbands and fathers.
