ITNs automated matching algorithms take most of the effort out of synchronizing catalogs; therefore, as trading partners take advantage of available product information updating their own catalogs, match rates will increase since products will automatically match across GTINs regardless of whether or not they continue to maintain their own SKU (e.g., to specify shelf or warehouse slot location).
