How does this Amended Settlement relate to the Google Partner Program and the Google eBookstore?
This Amended Settlement covers Books that are being copied by Google (primarily in libraries) without the permission of any rightsholder. Because this Amended Settlement is not yet final, no Book pages are being displayed by Google at this time under this Amended Settlement. However, separately from this Amended Settlement, under its Google Partner Program, Google is currently displaying preview pages from some books in search results. Also separately from the Amended Settlement, Google operates an online bookstore called the Google eBookstore that sells electronic versions of books. Books in the Partner Program and the Google eBookstore are displayed by Google only with the permission of one or more rightsholders of the book. If you believe Google is displaying pages from your book as part of the Google Partner Program or in the Google eBookstore without your permission, you should contact your agent, publisher or Google directly.
