Schools’ work with continuous improvement systems will complement Education YES! in two ways. The first of these is in the performance indicator in which schools are given credit for active, sustained participation in a continuous improvement system. The second is subtler. By helping schools provide every student in every classroom with a high quality learning experience, work with a school performance management system will raise student achievement – an important component of Education YES! North Central is not the only continuous improvement system that will be aligned to Education YES!. Blue Ribbon and Comprehensive School Reform Models are also aligned.
