How does Think Smart Coaching evaluate a students EFS weaknesses?
Think Smart Coaching evaluates the areas of EFS strengths and weaknesses as well as the student’s learning styles and multiple intelligences. A thorough interview with the parent(s) and with the student determines the area(s) of focus and the assessment of learning styles and multiple intelligences help create a successful coaching plan. A BRIEF (Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function) is completed if the parents suspect, or the initial interview indicates, more severe EFS deficits. A written report based on the interviews and the BRIEF are given to the parent, and can be distributed to the school psychologist, teacher or therapist.
