How does the Wintility Guard area provide additional security for my documents?
The Wintility Guard module allows users to assign a specific location(s) within their network to place documents that can only be accessed through Wintility. Documents do not need to be moved to a separate repository. Because the Wintility Pro environment creates references to documents stored throughout the network, documents outside of a Wintility Guard area can be accessed through both Wintility Pro and Windows Explorer (as long as they have permission from the network administrator). When inside the Wintility Guard area, all other paths to the document, including Windows Explorer, are blocked and users can only access them through Wintility.
