How does the WiFi Pilot analyzer differ from CACE Pilot?

0

WiFi Pilot is a subset of CACE Pilot. CACE Pilot’s powerful visualization, drill-down and reporting capabilities are fully available in WiFi Pilot. See a feature comparison list. The live source of traffic for WiFi Pilot is limited to 802.11 traffic, accessed via one or more AirPcap adapters. The off-line traffic sources are limited to 802.11-based trace files. These are trace files containing RadioTap or PPI header information. The Views available in WiFi Pilot form a subset of the CACE Pilot Views. The WiFi Pilot Views are those which are directly applicable to 802.11 traffic and provide MAC-level protocol analysis. Higher level protocol analysis is provided through the extensive Wireshark protocol dissectors.
