How does the whole rental bike thing work?
We work with several tourbike rental companies located in Denver and Glenwood Springs, Colorado. All of their bikes are well maintained and are all late model bikes, so you get to ride a fairly new machine. If you have chosen to rent a bike from one of our vendors, we handle the reservation, payment and insurance. You need to personally show up to pick up the bike and your contract is with them. If you are out of town we pick you up from your hotel and take you to the tourbike rental company. If you are local then you can drive your car to the tourbike company, leave your car there and pick up your bike. When you go to pick up your bike you will need to fill out paperwork just like you were renting a car. They also have helmets available. You can deal directly with the rental bike company if you like. We don’t charge anything to reserve the bike for you. You can choose to rent a bike from a different vendor, though we will need to see a copy of your rental agreement with them.
