How does the waze client differ from navigation?

Navigation services are designed primarily to guide to unknown places, whereas, waze is designed to facilitate driving to the places one knows very well – for example, work. • Waze is a driver- generated platform for live maps and real-time road information that can be used for many applications, and unlike most navigation software, waze is entirely free. The application can be installed on a GPS-capable mobile device and does not require any additional hardware.
