How does the vetting work?
When you have decided on a horse we schedule a veterinary exam. A standard pre-purchase exam includs a clinical and 20 X-rays. If your own vet requires extra X-rays to be taken, we will have to know the exact list before the vetting takes place. If a horse does not pass the clinical, a vet will not continue with the X-rays to save money. If a horse does not pass the exam, usually the owner will pay for the costs. However if the horse has a valid vet report (< 6 mos) the costs are always for the buyer.
