How does the value-added progress measure impact my rating?
For those districts/schools who’s designation did not increase or decrease based on the AYP status, the value-added progress measure may affect the final designation. Those districts/schools would be rewarded by moving them up one designation if they produce above expected growth for more than two consecutive years. Schools or districts that produce less than expected growth for three consecutive years may drop one designation.
