How does the UTemps Program recruit, screen, and hire applicants?
• Candidates submit an online application. • In-depth, in-person interview. The candidate can expect to spend approximately 45 minutes interviewing with the UTemps Recruiter. • Criminal Background Check • Drug Screening When in need of a UTemp, Departments have the following options: • A UTemps Representative will screen and choose a temporary employee based on the Job Description and Required Skills provided by the Department. • Departments can review resumes of temporary employees and select their own candidate. • Departments can review resumes, interview potential candidates and then select the temporary employee that they feel best meets their needs and expectations.
