How does the use of the Heavenly Acupressure Mat affect the skin?
Your skin will have tiny impressions from the acupressure points on the Heavenly Acupressure Mat. These impressions will be gone within 45 to 90 minutes depending on your skin and how long you were on the acupressure mat. In most people, the skin gets a little redness from the increased blood circulation. The redness generally disappears after 30 – 60 minutes. Although it is better to have the skin come in directly contact with the acupressure points on the mat, if it is causing significant irritation you can wear light clothing, or put a thin sheet over the acupressure mat.
