The current version of the system will not add any new records to the researcher’s account if either a.) It finds a record with the same Web of Science unique identifier (UT) or b.) it finds a record with all of these data elements: • Author list (all author names) • Publication year • Publication title (article title) • Reference type Please note that the data elements must be precisely identical. • How does the system check and see if a researcher already exists in ResearcherID?
