How does the University of Worcester rank amongst other universities?
The Guardian University Guide 2010 commented: ‘Worcester seems to be on the move. It enjoyed an applications increase of more than 35% this year and has seen applications increase by more than 100% in the past five years. It is currently investing more than £100m in the development of a new city-centre campus, which will open in September 2010, and a further £60m on a unique library and history centre, which will be the first joint university and public library in the UK. It is also developing a state-of-the-art new sports arena. There are currently more than 8,500 students at Worcester and the majority come from the West Midlands, but applications from further afield are increasing. Worcester itself is a charming city with plenty to see and do.
