As independent test lab member of FSAN, the UNH-IOL’s GPON Consortium provides input and feedback on testing standards for GPON technologies. In addition, the UNH-IOL hosts group test events, or “plugfests”, on behalf of FSAN to help drive multivendor interoperability forward. The UNH-IOL GPON Consortium and FSAN are, however, distinct organizations.
