How does the Troop decide where they will go camping?
The troop has an annual planning meeting in August. At that time, Scouts and adults present their ideas for camping locations to the troop, and a vote is taken. Location, facilities, available activities, and time of year are all considered when selecting which locations and which months we will camp at the locations that are voted on by the Troop. The troop calendar is presented to the Troop Committee for final approval.
