How does the tournament buy-in work?
In the list of tournaments in the poker room lobby, you will see a buy-in figure next to each tournament or tournament table – for example, 20/ 2. This figure represents the total amount of chips you need to buy in to the tournament. The larger amount is allocated to the prize pool, while the smaller amount goes to the house. This is standard practice in all poker tournaments, both online and land-based.
