How does the Total Energy Optimization System work with “Peak Demand” power customers?
Power companies bill commercial power customers by calculating their “peak demand” for power and then multiplying that rate by the actual power used. The higher a customer’s peak demand, the higher the rate. The TEO system keeps that peak demand lower by cleaning up the Voltage and supplying the Reactive component of electricity locally at the load, which in turn yields lower energy consumption.
