How does the Titan Laser work?
The Titan laser works by having the laser’s light react with the water that is within the deeper layers of the skin (dermis). The energy released between the light and the water causes the water within the dermis to heat up. The elevation of the skin’s temperature is only to a certain temperature that is favorable for collagen contraction. This light generated heat causes immediate collagen contraction within the dermis of the skin. During the procedure, the skin’s outermost surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. The results of the procedure are not complete immediately after the procedure because over time, new collagen growth results in further tightening and the development of a more youthful complexion with fewer lines, folds and looseness of the skin.
