How does the thrust and projection of a rocket?
Thrust is a reaction force (Newton 2nd and 3rd laws) that occurs as a result of an acceleration (forced movement) of mass, thrust is in the opposite direction of the direction of the mass. I am going to assume that “projection” refers to trajectory -the trajectory or ‘flight path’ of the rocket is the ‘route’ in which the rocket uses to reach its destination/target. In order for our rockets to ‘launch’ we use the reaction force (thrust) from the expelling of gasses produced by the detonating/burning of the fuel, the gasses are directed downwards thus the thrust forces the rocket upwards. In terms of trajectory one must calculate and compensate for absolutely all forces that will act on the rocket such as gravity, air resistance, temperature and weather, eg. Gravity ‘forces’ the rocket down so you aim the rocket a little higher to compensate for it -as to how much higher, the only way to know is to calculate it using the ‘most’ approximate values.
