How does the Therma Pouch work?
The Therma Pouch works by pouring the salt water packet over a magnesium and iron heating pad which produces steam that raises the temperature of the food by about 100 degrees over the ambient temperature. The entree is precooked, so the steam serves simply as a reheat mechanism. You may notice the steam carries a slight aroma, but it is in no way dangerous to the user or the environment.
