How does the theme Nature and Technology fit into the movie The Curse Of Frankenstein?

0

The theme is that technology can cheat nature by the creation of the Frankenstein monster but then the flaws of technology appear through the actions of the monster and finally nature catches up and overwhelms all that technology leading to the death of Frankenstein’s monster. Mary Shelley was ahead of her time in this concept. Take an example of a modern day Frankenstein is our inventing and use of antibiotics. This created a period of euphoria in our technical ability. Then there are the flaws in our poor use of antibiotics so nature begins catching up and today we have multiresistant bacteria which could easily overwhelm our technology in antibiotics.
