How does the TA Conference relate to the International TA Program at CIDR?
The Graduate School requires all international TAs in their first two quarters of teaching to participate in the ITA Program at CIDR. The ITA Program consists of two parts: • International TAs attend ITA Program Workshops on the afternoon of the first day of the TA Conference. • International TAs consult individually with CIDR staff during their first two quarters of teaching at UW. For other questions related to International TAs, see Requirements for International Graduate Students. More information about CIDR’s ITA Program can also be found at Information for International TAs, or Information for Departments that Employ International TAs.
