How does the switchable wattage switch work?
The Hellhound switch lifts the cathode from ground, limiting the conductivity of the output tubes. It is based on a variable wattage control patented by Dennis Kager (see above). The switch on the current line of amps limits the drive signal to the output stage. This is a new circuit design also by Kager.
