How does the Speed Trap Warning Work?
We use a national database of speed camera locations, these locations are known locations that the police use to set up radar and laser speed traps. This is a highly effective way of saving you from a ticket when traveling on roads or highways. It is also a great addition to your radar detector as many radar detectors will not save you from a speed trap if you are the only one on the road. The reason for this is some police will not turn on their radar until you are in range … your radar detector will sound but it is usually too late unless you have a NavAlert.
