How does the Spark work?
There’s lots happening and you can take part. Each session of The Spark runs over several months and starts with us asking what social or environmental issue is important to you and why. You can vote in an online poll and leave comments on the issues to let us know why they’re important to you. When the poll closes, we look at what you’ve told us and choose the issue that we’ll tackle during that session. So the mobile application that we come up with at the end will either raise awareness of the issue, or help to tackle it. For example, our first session of The Spark is focusing on climate change, so our first mobile application will either help people reduce carbon emissions, or help people find out more about climate change.
